1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the BibleArk mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

  • Bible reading and study tools
  • Personal note-taking capabilities
  • Prayer management features
  • Community and social interaction features
  • Daily verses and spiritual content
  • Multi-language support (English and Romanian)

3. Account Registration and Security

  • You may create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or our authentication system
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are solely responsible for all activities under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content and Conduct

  • You retain ownership of content you create (notes, prayers, comments)
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content within the App
  • You are responsible for backing up your personal content
  • Post content that is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Share false or misleading information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove user content
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate community guidelines
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content

5. App Features and Services

  • Bible text is provided for personal study and spiritual growth
  • Content may not be used for commercial purposes without permission
  • We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee error-free content
  • Friend connections and sharing features are voluntary
  • You control your privacy settings and shared content
  • We may moderate community interactions
  • You may add photos, audio, and documents to your notes
  • You must own or have rights to any media you upload
  • We may limit file sizes and formats

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Account information and authentication data
  • App usage and interaction data
  • Content you create (notes, prayers, comments)
  • Device and technical information
  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
  • We use Supabase as our backend service provider
  • No system is 100% secure; use the App at your own risk

7. Intellectual Property

  • The App and its original content are owned by Arise For Christ Organization
  • Our trademarks, logos, and branding are protected
  • Third-party content is owned by respective owners
  • We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App
  • You may not reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
  • This license terminates when your account is closed

8. Third-Party Services

  • Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication
  • Supabase for backend services
  • Various media and sharing services
  • We are not responsible for third-party service availability or policies
  • Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms
  • We may change or discontinue third-party integrations

9. App Availability and Updates

  • We strive for reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
  • We may release updates to improve functionality and security
  • Some updates may be required for continued use
  • New features may be subject to additional terms

10. Fees and Payments

  • The App is currently provided free of charge
  • We reserve the right to introduce premium features or subscription plans
  • Any future charges will be clearly communicated in advance

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of Bible translations or content
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App
  • Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations

12. Indemnification

13. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
  • You may stop using the App without notice

  • Your right to use the App ends immediately
  • We may delete your account data according to our retention policies
  • Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
